Dressing Up For Date Night

I love dressing up and going out for a nice meal. Whether I'm going out on a date with my boyfriend, or having a girls night with my friends, I have a lot of fun putting my outfit together for my night out.

I recently got into turtle necks and choker tops. It's always been hard for me to find the right cut for turtle necks and choker tops because of my short torso. I'm only 5'2, and usually these styles make me look stubby. But I've been so lucky lately finding the right cuts for my short height! I realized the best look for me is if it's cropped in the front ā€“ that way it fits my torso nicely and makes my legs look longer. So if you're petite like I am and really want a choker top, then look for a cropped style!

What Iā€™m Wearing:

All Dolled Up Olive Sleeveless Top from Tobi.

I'm obsessed with this sleeveless choker top from Tobi. I love the color, the texture, the cut, and the cute detailed trip really pulls it all together! This has been my go-to top for date night. It not only looks good, but I feel like a million bucks when I'm wearing it. It's also so easy to style! Because the top is a neutral olive green, it's easy to pair it with different pieces from my closet. I personally love how it stands out against skinny black jeans and nude heels because it puts all the attention on the top itself.

Since I've worn this out a few times already ā€“ both for a date with my boyfriend and a night on the town with my girls ā€“ I switched it up slightly by changing my purse. For my date night with my boo, I wore a envelope clutch, and for my girls night I made the look a little more casual with shorter nude heels and a nude suede crossbody bag.

This top is available in two colors, olive green and terracotta, and there is endless opportunities to style both. I love this top so much I might just have to purchase the terracotta one too šŸ˜‰
