Jumping Into NYE In A $40 Old Navy Jumpsuit

I can't believe it's finally here...it's New Year's Eve!!!

I remember being a kid and every year seemed to feel like a lifetime. My mom always assured me that as I got older the years would feel shorter and shorter. Boy, was she right. This year really flew by and I can't believe it's already time for 2017.

NYE is one of those important nights where you have to dress up and have to look good. The pressure is on to find the right outfit and accessories to ring in the new year. I usually go for a pretty dress or romper with high heel stiletto shoes but this year I wanted to mix things up. Instead I opted to spend less money but create a look that was both chic and comfortable.

I found this black v-neck jumpsuit from Old Navy during my Black Friday shopping spree and I knew it was exactly what I wanted to wear for NYE. It's super cute, cozy and something I could wear again. That's the hardest part about buying a NYE outfit–you generally get a dress you can wear only one time...so why not opt for something you could wear over and over again? The best part about this jumpsuit was the price. I got it for only $25 because Old Navy was having a huge sale during Black Friday, but it's currently listed at $32 down from $40. Still such a steal! I really see this becoming a staple in my closet. The great think about simple jumpsuits like this is you can dress it up with heels and accessories like I did for NYE, or you can dress it down and wear it with a denim jacket and some cute sneakers.

My goal this year was to buy a NYE outfit on a budget and I definitely accomplished it. Everything else I paired my outfit with I already owned in my closet. To complete my look I wore my Topshop Satin Trim Slouch Blazer  from Nordstrom in blush pink, my Chevron Quilted Rebecca Minkoff bag, dainty jewelry from Gorjana, a Michael Kors gold and tortoise shell face boyfriend watch, and Enzo Angiolini ankle strap leather and calf hair heels.

Not only was this outfit super chic and durable for my NYE plans, but it also was beyond comfortable which is a must on the party night of the year!
