Peplum Tops & Patent Leather Booties
I really love this holiday. It's always so much fun hanging out with family, relaxing and enjoying the time we have together. While a lot of people might find the holidays stressful with gift buying and events, I embrace it and find it relaxing more than anything. It really is the one time of year where everyone can come together and spend quality time with each other.
My family in the U.S. is very small, so we always have a very quiet Christmas. We start off with a wonderful breakfast made by my father, open gifts and relax until we have company over. This year we actually ended up going to the movie theatre to see Jackie (high recommend!). The movie followed with a quick visit to a relatives house for dinner and dancing (Persian parties, am I right?!)
I knew I wanted to wear something chic, but also make my outfit look effortless. I decided to go for a darker look as my base to make my accessories pop. I'm wearing Skyline Skinny Black Shadow jeans by Paige Denim, a satin peplum top by Topshop, and a long robe cardigan from Forever 21. For my accessories I'm wearing my patent leather with a gunmetal toe midi booties from Zara (my current obsession), a gunmetal and gold necklace from Express Runway, and a soft blue Alexander McQueen Padlock Tote.
This look was very casual while still being dressy enough for the holiday.
