Color of the Season: Terracotta
If it's one color I haven't been able to get enough of this season it's this terracotta-like orangish red. I know I just stated a few different colors but I can't seem to put my finger on exactly what color this is...but I've been gravitating towards it constantly for my wardrobe.
When we were in Hawaii a few weeks ago it was ridiculously hot, so I was able to finally enjoy this stunning Free People Emily Dress (now on sale for $58 on Revolve!) paired with a Rebecca Minkoff Saddle Bag of the same color wave. I really love the details on this dress. Along each side there is a string tie coming down that lets you make the dress tighter to give you some shape. In addition, the detailing across the front and back of the dress give it a very feminine and bohemian vibe. The terracotta monochrome look for this outfit really made it stand out. Because the details of the dress spoke for itself, there wasn't a need to go too bold with accessories. I'm wearing a Gorjana Olympia Cuff and Forever 21 aviator sunglasses.
To keep with the laid-back, bohemian look I'm wearing my hair literally all-natural by letting it dry on its own after taking a swim in the ocean. There's really nothing better than sea salt on curly hair! It really enhances your curls, and I personally like that it turns mine into beach waves.
This was the perfect outfit for Hawaii. Not only was it super laid back, but it also gave me enough room to breath in the hot, and humid island heat.
