July Birchbox Review
You guys...I cannot believe July is already almost over!! It's crazy to think we're already more than halfway done with this year. Where does the time go?!
I remember in the beginning of summer I told myself I wanted to test out a lot of new products and step up my beauty regimen. I'm happy to say that so far I've succeeded with this goal!
With the help of my subscription boxes, I've been able to test out new products every single month. My focus was on my skin, using sunblock and face creams to look hydrated and fresh. I've definitely noticed a big difference in my skin! Goes to show that if you keep up with a routine long enough you'll finally start seeing the results after a few months.
With my skincare routine top of mind for me, I was very happy when I opened July's Birchbox to find a few new skin products to test out, alongside a handful of other important beauty items.
- Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot - 30ml
- dr. brandt® PoreDermabrasion
- Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara
- MDSolarSciences™ Mineral Crème SPF 50 Broad Spectrum UVA-UVB Sunscreen
- Rene Furterer KARINGA Hydrating Styling Cream
The beauty queen inside me is so pleased with this month's Birchbox goodies! I actually haven't used any of these products in the past, which makes it exciting to test them out for the first time.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, I love getting compact size mascara (Marcelle Xtension Plus) and perfume (Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot). It's easy to put in my purse and take them with me anywhere. It's a nice way to ensure you're always looking on point when you're going out! I also like getting the small sample size sunblock (MDSolarSciences Mineral Crème Sunscreen) because they too are easy to fit in any purse to make sure my fair skin is protected from the sun at all times.
To keep in-line with my big kick on skincare, I received the dr. brandt PoreDermabrasion cream to help minimize my pores. I'm going to incorporate this product into my beauty routine this week to get my pores under control. In addition to keeping your skin looking beautiful and hydrated, it's also important to do the same with your hair. That's the one thing I'm terrible at doing - applying a hydrating styling cream to my hair before I use a blow drier or straightener. Now that I have the Rene Furterer KARINGA Hydrating Styling Cream I'm interested to see how using a styling cream can help keep my hair looking healthier longer between cuts.
