March Birchbox Review
Spring is finally in the air!
Well…kinda. So far the weather this season has been all over the place - from rain, to heatwaves, to being muggy and overcast - we’ve been experiencing it all. With this type of rollercoaster weather it’s super important to keep up with your beauty routine to make sure your skin and hair maintain its healthy glow.
When I saw what was in my March Birchbox, I was somewhat pleased to see different products to help keep my skin and hair stay healthy this season.
- White & Elm Rosehip and Argan Antioxidant Serum
- Supergoop! Everday SPF 50 with Cellular Response Technology
- Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Primer Oil
- trèStiQue Color & Smudge Shadow Crayon in Aspen Pine
- Number 4™ Clarifying Shampoo + Conditioner (not pictured!)
Everything in this month's box is something I would use or have already used. I was very happy to receive Supergoop’s sunscreen because I really like the consistency of the formula. Plus it doesn’t have that super strong “sunscreen smell” which I absolutely hate.
I was most excited about receiving the oil based primer by Smashbox. I’m currently using their Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light and love it, so I’m looking forward to trying this oil primer and comparing the differences between the two.
The only complaint I have with the box is it has one too many oil products. I’ve been subscribed to Birchbox for a few years and every few months, I’ll receive a new oil product. It currently feels like I’m hoarding Aragon oil in my beauty cabinet and because oil products last forever it’s hard to go through all of them in a timely manner. Real talk, how much Aragon oil does a girl really need?!
All in all, this wasn't my favorite box, but it wasn’t the worst either. Nothing wrong with any of the products, but I wasn’t as enthusiastic about the content as I’ve been in the past.
