Ipsy Spring Glam Bag
Hello Spring indeed! Very excited about the March @ipsy Glam Bag. I've been a member of Ipsy for the last year and I absolutely love it. I've been impressed with every single bag I've received. Even if the products aren't necessarily something I would use, I have tons of family members or friends who I know they'd be perfect for. Plus, it's just fun receiving a pretty bright pink package in the mail once a month filled with different beauty products!
This month's box was filled with colorful items perfect for Spring, and a new makeup routine!
- Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold by Pixi by Petra
- "Pink Lust" Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick by NYX Cosmetics
- Lotus Eyeshadow in Clover by Vera Mona
- Replenishing Eye Cream by Aphrodite Skin Care
- Eyeshadow Brush by Beau Gâchis Paris
My favorite thing about Ipsy is that you get a brand new makeup bag every single month. This is especially important for someone like me who goes through makeup bags like crazy - they rip, get dirty, and honestly sometimes they're too small to hold all my nude lipsticks ;) Upon opening my package and seeing the bag it immediately felt like Spring. The modern design and colors used on the blooms represented on the bag are chic and fun.
Almost everything in this bag is something I'd use. The blush and eyeshadow are both very neutral and can easily be brought into my daily makeup routine, and the eyeshadow brush was a BIG bonus. I mean, you can never have too many eyeshadow brushes, am I right?!
I'm also always game for any kind of anti-aging cream. A few years ago, my mom turned me onto anti-wrinkle and face cream to keep my skin hydrated so I'm really looking forward to using this product.
The only product in this bag that isn't quite up my alley is the NYX Lipstick. Why? It's very very bright and not really my style because I'm afraid to use color. It's a problem on my part, but I really don't know how to wear color properly without having it look like I'm painting my face for halloween. I love nudes and neutrals and the only color I currently have in my makeup bag is a dark red lipstick that I wear once or twice a year.
Maybe this is the year I'll finally get over my fear and add some color into my makeup routine. What do you think?!
